To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- 2-4 years of experience as software engineer
- Ability to design templates using CCM tools such as xPression and SmartCOMMs
- Good exposure to XML/XSD.
- Ability to work in Agile environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying the root cause and providing solution.
- Good understanding of server – client enterprise architectures setup.
Eligibility
Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- Exposure to customer communication domain.
- Familiar with WebSphere application server, MSSQL, xQuery, Java, JavaScript, Shell Scripting
- Exposure to automation and CICD frameworks and tools such as GitHub Actions, Codefresh, IBM Urban Code.
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP.
- Understanding of how different enterprise platforms and integration works together.
As a software engineer in our Customer Communication technology area (part of Intelligent Automation), your mission is to help deliver great user experience and ensure the performance, stability and reliability of the applications we deliver. Maintaining and ensuring the platforms we support are stable and runs smoothly is your top priority.
You are an engineer at heart and loves coding, automation and understands the criticality of ensuring the CCM platforms are up and running for our users. You are inclined to automate day to day activities and encouraged to use AI tools available. You understand the platform security requirements and risk associated with it.
About the Role
ANZ Bank roughly generates 1.2 billion pages for its customer annually as part of customer communication. As a Software Engineer in our Customer Communication technology area (part of Intelligent Automation), you will ensure document generation services runs smoothly in the bank.
